How to support the design community
Domino announced last week they will be closing their doors. It is very sad news in the design community. Many up and coming designers were featured in this hip, young, urban magazine. It was a source of inspiration for many apartment dwellers and homeowners. Country Style also announced its last issue would be in March. The list may be growing.
One of my favorite activities is relaxing by the fire with a cup of hot tea and my recent arrival of <insert one of the magazines I subscribe to for inspiration>.
Listen up folks! If you love design magazines as much as I do, subscribe! Pay the $9.00 to $15.00 a year for “to your door” delivery. You could save another beautiful, inspiring design magazine. Besides, where will interior designers and decorators like me publish our work if more magazines close their doors?
