A One Day Room Makeover for as little as $500
Call me an optimist, but I see my interior design and redesign business continuing to grow this year and the next and the next. Some still see interior design as a luxury item for the pampered few, but more and more people are realizing that hiring a designer and/or decorator is a great way to stay within budget, use what you have effectively, and ultimately a way to save money. Not to mention, a finished room with a professional’s eye makes all the difference.
I would classify the vast majority of my clients as middle class professionals. They have demanding work and family schedules, and when they do get a chance to sit down and relax, they want to be in a space that is exceptional and personalized.
My interior design services are affordable. I transform rooms in my client’s homes for as little as $500. (Read again.) For as little as $500 we can turn your “now” room into “WOW!”
My one day room makeover packages, or “redesign” services cater to clients that have furnishings, artwork and accessories throughout their home, but are bored or unsatisfied with the look of their current room. We have redesigned great rooms, living rooms, master suites and even nurseries.
The one day room makeover is a simple process of using what you already own and placing it purposefully and artfully in your room. If you watch HGTV you have probably seen a similiar transformation. Most of us can’t see our home furnishings with fresh eyes. Bringing in a trained professional makes all the difference. You’d be surprised what my team and I can do in just a few hours in your home.
I recently worked with a client who had out of town guests coming in town. Like all of us, she wanted to show them her new home with pride. When I first met Mary at her home, we talked about what she liked in the room and what she wanted to see improved. I learned about her style, her family and the function the family room. I knew we could create something special for her and her family.
Mary lives in a craftsman home, she had collected pieces from her travels to Europe and the Far East, and she had some traditional style from living on the east coast. Our job was to marry an eclectic mix of furnishings, accessories and artwork. My design partner and I addressed scale, color balance, and unity throughout the room. We added a few items to the room including pillows (for color) and lighting. The before and after transformation is simply incredible. Who would guess the before and after photos were taken within five hours of one another?
A exceptional room doesn’t have to cost a fortune. We all deserve a space we enjoy and can share proudly with guests. I wish that for everyone, and for as little as $500 it is possible for everyone.
