Angela Todd, a founding member and key contributor to the growth of the Interior Design Society of Portland, resigned as a member at large and board member. As the Vice President elect of the Portland Oregon chapter, she was expected to step into presidency of the chapter in January of 2010 – 2013. “The organization’s focus and direction was no longer in line with my values and goals,” said Todd.
Well regarded and known in the Portland interior design community, Todd was the largest member and vendor sponsorship recruiter of the IDS Oregon chapter, winning an award in January 2010 for her contributions growing the chapter. Her leadership and vision in the Oregon IDS Chapter also included developing the Distinct Style Awards and Designer Roundtable Series, and launching the Portland IDS website, directory and blog.
The Portland based interior designer continues to grow and develop her interior design firm and guest appears as an interior design expert for radio, television and print media. She also continues to serve as a board member of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland (HBA).
