Angela Todd Portland Interior Designers

An Interior Designer for the Busy Middle Class Homeowner

I meet people regularly that comment on my approachability. “You are so down to earth,” I frequently hear. I smile at the compliment, but I am also uneasy at the stereotype of interior designers. As professionals we all specialize in certain areas – I focus on helping great people create exceptional, personalized spaces for their homes.
One of the most significant misconceptions about hiring an interior designer is that it is too costly. It might surprise you to know the vast majority of my clients are middle class professionals. Sometimes I get telephone calls for one or two session projects like color consultations, accessory assistance, and flooring and surface selections for remodeling projects. Other times a client works with me from start to finish to remodel or redecorate.
My clients:
  • Are busy and time challenged
  • Love their home and want it to look and feel great
  • Want their personalities reflected in their space
  • Know what they like when they see it, but sometimes they can’t create it in their space

The fresh eyes of a designer in your home can make a large difference in your project. Imagine living and breathing design, attending regular continuing education, pouring through industry publications, networking with your peers and vendors, and having hundreds of client projects under your belt. You would have some great ideas to draw from too!

Call Angela Todd Designs for help with a home project. I will show up with a smile and I know you will be pleasantly surprised at what we can accomplish together.

I enjoyed this article, “The Biggest Mistakes to Avoid When Redecorating“. KRIS-TV from Corpus Christi, TX asked five top designers. It is a fun read. Enjoy!
